How MailMeter Compliance Review works

MailMeter Compliance Review is a browser based application that a user logs into (or is automatically logged in using Active Directory). A compliance officer can create new plans, modify existing plans, and delete reviews.

The MailMeter scheduler runs all activated plans according to their ferquency schedule. Messages are selected for review based on the plan criteria – users, percentage sampling, data range, tags, etc.

Message content is compared against the word list for a plan. Any matches cause the message to be placed in a report – list of messages for the reviewers specified in the plan.

A reviewer receives a notification to review messages. Reviewers can be one of many, require multiple reviewers, or mulitple reviewers from different reviewer groups.

Messages are reviewed by opening a message or by checking a “Reviewed” tag box – depending on the plan criteria.

Managers can spend more time working with their team knowing MailMeter Compliance Review is analyzing email content and will let them know if there are any unacceptable messages being sent or received.
